Through this program, we engage youth in Needs Improvement Areas (NIAs) with one of the top schools in the world, so that they get familiar with the institution. This destigmatizes the illusion that they are not good enough to attend, and allows them to envision themselves going there.
This partnership helps to create the support and resources needed to successfully prepare students for a future in public health. Our program builds relationships with youth and provides support, motivation and the resources they need to succeed while increasing their self-confidence and developing leadership skills to help them take charge of their lives and become engaged, contributing community leaders.
